The Suunto X10M Wrist Top GPS Watch is the perfect partner for all adventure sport activities.
Equipped with GPS, a digital compass, chronograph, altimeter, and barometer the Suunto X10 has everything you need for your adventure packed into one small unit that leaves your hands completely free. No more holding/dropping your GPS/altimeter or having it swing around your neck. Regardless of wether you are climbing, skiing or heading off for a fishing trip, the Suunto X10 will take you through even the toughest situations.

The Suunto X10M is the military version of the standard Suunto X10. The X10M has an all black body with a black negative LED face with red backlight. The GPS of the X10M can also be set to use the MGRS system. The features of the X10M and the X10 are the same and the X10M is just as popular with non military people for it's all black look.

The NEW Suunto X10 is the latest upgrade for the Suunto wrist top GPS unit and is a direct replacement for the Suunto X9i. The Suunto X10 offers about 30% quicker fix than the old X9i and is comparable with hand held GPS units with longer antenna. We got the first two we had out of the boxes, which to our knowledge had never been used in the UK and under pretty optimal GPS conditions the average time for the first fix was 80 seconds. The GPS receiver also tracks better in difficult conditions like heavy foliage and will hold it's signal longer. The other main area of improvement is the battery life which again offers a 30% improvement over the X9Mi. The size, look and functions of the Suunto X10M are unchanged from the X9Mi. The only other real change is that the watch facia has been redesigned into one piece to make the X10M physically stronger.

One of the nice features of the X10M is the Suunto Track Exporter PC software which allows users to export "tracks" from their GPS units to Google Earth, where they can view their adventures anywhere on the globe with real satellite imagery. The Suunto X10 is also compatible with National Geographic TOPO!, Memory Map and Fugawi. Checkout the screen shots at the bottom of the page of an X10 tracklog exported to google earth.

The Suunto X10M has all the standard GPS features you would find in a basic handheld GPS like waypoints, route following and trackbac, all of which can be programmed on your PC and uploaded to the watch or entered directly into the X10 itself. All the software and cables you need are included with the watch.
